Some things deserve a closer look.
A black hole and its glowing disk, ray-traced in real time in your browser. Every pixel follows a ray of light as gravity bends it. Scroll to fall in.
Light from behind, bent over the top.
The bright arc above the shadow is the far side of the disk. Gravity lifts its light over the hole and into view, and pulls a second image underneath.
Gas at a fraction of the speed of light.
Seen face-on, the disk is rings of superheated gas, orbiting faster the closer it gets. The side turning toward you burns brighter.
A road of light.
Drop to the plane of the disk and it becomes a horizon, curving up and over the shadow on both sides.
Where light itself goes into orbit.
This close, the whole sky folds into a ring. Stars from behind the hole appear twice: once on each side.
If it runs here, your product will fly.
